Roz the robot was featured at Amanda’s finish line, and was a huge highlight on the day. Today, on World Mental Health Day, we want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace. We spend a lot of time at work and we're committed to ensuring every employee in our business has access to free mental health support. Our Employee Assistance Programme offers confidential counselling and free mental health resources to support our people through life's ups and downs. We've also taken the additional step of providing mental health training for all our managers so that mental health awareness is embedded in our culture and teams - the place where it really matters. Another week, another supplier visit 🇷🇴 Over 20 of our people jetted off to Cluj in Romania to meet the team at Bodahl Møbler and take a peek behind the scenes at their factory. Bodahl craft stunning, one-of-a-kind oak dining tables, and it was a privilege to see the skill and care that goes into making one up close. There's a story behind every product we sell, and we're passionate about helping our store consultants bring these stories to life for our customers. As well as lots of time on the factory floor, there was also time for a spot of high-wire hi-jinks which was great fun!

Over 20 of our people recently jetted off to Florence to visit our friends at Stone International 🇮🇹 As part of an industry first, they followed a beautiful piece of natural marble all the way from the quarry to its final destination as a stunning table, much like the ones in our stores. Gaining first hand insight into the craftsmanship involved will empower our colleagues to bring the story of Stone International's unique pieces to life with our customers.
