London Oxford Airport (OXF / EGTK) is the UK Thames Valley&#39;s only regional airport, located equidistant between Heathrow and Birmingham as the only IFR airport alternative.   6 miles from central Oxford, but an hour from London via the uncongested M40 motorway, the airport has a catchment of over 5 million passengers.   Now served by the new Oxford Parkway rail station, just over 55 minutes from central London.

The airport has a unique mix of usage having hosted Europe’s largest pilot training school, Oxford Aviation Academy.

Our new #londonoxfordairport AerOx science and R&D tech park is now under construction with the first of five buildings available from late next summer 2025. Individual units from 7,500 sq.ft to 50,000 sq.ft . will be available, though units can be subdivided or indeed joined together. A new café will be built alongside the first of the new buildings. The buildings provide flexible high-tech ground floor R&D space with Grade A first floor offices. All buildings will boast best in class sustainability credentials and are targeting EPC A and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. AEROX has been designed to meet the highest sustainability standards with related features including 25% EV charging spaces, PV panels and open amenity space at its core. The zone north of Oxford city up to the airport is now rapidly evolving as a significant new science and research hub with numerous fresh developments underway and billions in inward investment. Those basing themselves here at #londonoxfordairport might well join the 12,000+ business passengers we see linking directly with over 330 international destinations each year, a mere five minutes walk from their aircraft. Well, that was quite an evening here at #londonoxfordairport last night, celebrating the launch of this year’s 2024 #SalonPrivé event at #BlenheimPalace . Salon Privé is firmly established as the UK’s premier concours event and certainly a key end-of-summer social event in the season’s calendar, fortuitously a mere 5 minutes away from the airport. For the first time, we hosted the new #MotoAvia launch party here at the airport in our Hangar No.15, with some key sponsors and participants, including #BoeingBusinessJets #BBJ , #TextronAviation with #Cessna #Beechcraft and #BellHelicopter alongside the likes of #Boodles , #PommeryChampagne , #LondonEssenceCo , #Gatineau and aircraft from #VolareAviation , showcasing their fantastic BBJ, fully refurbished here at Oxford. With over fifty of the world’s most precious and beautiful classic cars, some quite extraordinary hyper cars, surrounded by Cessna, Bell, Beechcraft and Boeing’s finest products, the evening was complimented with some fabulous performances on the stage and dancefloor. We hope everyone got home safely in those precious classics and no doubt any afterparties at #EstelleManor were memorable!

We're delighted today to see our tenant, #OXCCU launch their new production plant here with a world’s first in the synthetic fuel production field, a unique single step solution converting CO2 and hydrogen into Jet Fuel. Alchemy exists! A spin-out from Oxford University, this could transform the race to more sustainable travel at costs significantly less than other solutions out there right now. Watch this space as they say…. Unlike other firms working on Power-to-Liquid (PtL) fuels, OXCCU has reduced the traditional multi-step process to a single step, avoiding the need to first convert CO2 to CO. By removing the need for additional energy intensive processes, it can reduce the cost, easing one of the main barriers to the adoption of the technology.
