Radley has come a long way since starting our handbag journey as part of a wave of new creatives setting up businesses in Camden Market in the midst of the 1980s. Driven by a passion for colour, luxurious leathers and FUN, Radley launched in 1998. Our spirit of playful creativity has remained at the heart of our design process ever since.

Our Radley dog was born after a search was started for an icon to represent the playful personality of our brand. The very British looking Scottie, with his distinctive outline and bright red collar was a small idea sketched by our designers and proved to be a huge success – dog lovers all over the world fell for him just like we did!

RADLEY LONDON X BEANO   

We're excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Beano, the iconic British comic, for a second exclusive collaboration. This year, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of everyone's favourite mischief-making heroine, Minnie, we’ve created another special edition collection. 

This isn’t our first trip to Beanotown. Back in 2022, we created our first exclusive collection to mark 70 years of Dennis, reimagining Beano’s playful comic strips into expertly crafted, collectable styles. 

So what is it that makes this such a perfect partnership? Well, we both know a thing or two about designs that last. It was 1938 when Beano published their first comic, while here at Radley London, we’ve been crafting leather handbags and purses for over 25 years.

We had so much fun earlier this month with our friends in New York City celebrating Radley’s AW23 collection. Our team got the chance to meet with top US editors and influencers for a night full of food, drinks, and fabulous handbags. 

We’re excited to be at the TFWA (Tax Free World Association) Travel Retail Global Summit in Cannes until Thursday 5th October. Showcasing our upcoming handbag collections, as well as small leather goods, eyewear, and jewellery including watches.  We’d love to see any friends also attending, pop over to us at Stand F42 in the Yellow Village. 

Everything we do is made possible by our fantastic team. In celebrating 25 years of Radley London, we also need to celebrate those behind the brand.
