Jon Prideaux led payments fintech company Boku to significant growth, culminating in a successful IPO. The company now trades on the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of over £500M.

Like all entrepreneurial success stories, Boku's path had many challenges. At our recent Angel Investor Summit, Jon shared his journey, highlighting the pivotal role angel investors played in the company's rise.

💸 3 things we learned at the Angel Investor Summit

1. Your network is immensely valuable as an angel, from where you source your deal flow, to who you invest with, and how you can support your portfolio companies.

2. Angel Investment is the most undocumented asset class, we need to collate more data to understand how to become more successful. 

3. Build a portfolio. Have a thesis. This was the most common advice from our experienced angel speakers!
 
Then there was all the stuff about investing in Space, AI, and Quantum 👀😮🚀 but you had to be there...
