Update on TFS… They say if you do a job you love, you will never work a day in your life… Our passion for fermentation, reducing food waste and creating delicious ferments were the cornerstones of why we started TFS. We have loved the last three years on our business journey. We truly think we have built something truly special. But sadly during the journey our passion has been tested, pushed and bent to its breaking point. We have worked extremely hard to keep TFS running as a business in some of the hardest recent economic challenges we’ve seen, it’s one way to build up resilience! However it takes its toll and for the sake of our mental wellbeing, it’s with a really heavy heart that we announce it's time we stepped away and followed another path. We've been offered different opportunities and it's time for us to say 'yes' to something else. The constant challenges, setbacks, inflation, cost of living crisis, supply issues from Brexit and the war in Ukraine, honestly the list is endless, all add up. It isn’t an easy decision to make, it never would be, but we feel now is the right time for us to step away. We have experienced fantastic achievements, winning 5 Great Taste awards and being crowned a Great Taste Producer, pitching to Aldi’s head buyer on Channel 4’s Grow With Aldi and finally showcasing our business in The House of Lords, thanks to BIPC. As well as working with such amazing stockist, from our first champion SKAUS to delivering workshops alongside Soho House. Thank you to all our supporters, stockists, anyone who ever placed an order with us, our family and friends for helping us out when times got really tough. We genuinely appreciate it all. Whilst we (Sam and Amy) are saying goodbye to TFS on our journey, you've still got time to get the last of our stock which is now discounted on our website.
