TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel and CFO Mathias Kiep reappointed until September 2028 Dr Dieter Zetsche , Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: “ TUI has had two successful years. This has been reflected in turnover and earnings from quarter to quarter. The Group has been able to overcome the consequences of the pandemic thanks to an enormous effort by the entire TUI team. Now the focus is purely on strong profitable growth. TUI was represented by Sebastian Ebel , Chairman of the Executive Board, Thomas Ellerbeck , Member of the Group Executive Committee, Marco Ciomperlik , Chief Executive Officer of TUI Airline, and Michael Garvens , Managing Director of TUI fly. With almost 3 million TUI guests visiting the Canary Islands annually, and 500 weekly return flights, Fuerteventura remains our top winter destination for German travellers. World Travel Market in London: TUI CEO meets Mexican Tourism Secretary 🇲🇽 At the World Travel Market (WTM) London , TUI CEO Sebastian Ebel met with Mexican Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodriguez Zamora together with Member of the Group Executive Committee Thomas Ellerbeck to discuss sustainable tourism growth and industry challenges. 🌱 TUI is committed to Mexico with 31 hotels, flights, and cruise brands Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd. Ebel emphasised the importance of sustainable growth, local community involvement, and contributions to cultural heritage and nature conservation. The sustainable transformation is already underway. The first RIU Hotels & Resorts are equipped with photovoltaic systems, and by mid-2025, four Blue Diamond Resorts will also have these systems to produce green energy locally. Also the TUI Care Foundation is actively engaged in Quintana Roo with the “TUI Colourful Cultures” programme, supporting local artists and small businesses to create new tourism products and opportunities.
