Tuza is a fintech company that simplifies card payments for small businesses by matching them with the most competitive rates from leading banks, saving them from hidden fees and complex pricing.

At Tuza we're building an exchange for card payments to give businesses access to the most competitive rates for their payment terminals, while helping banks to access volume they want to process. This is important. Just like insurance, payments is a product priced on risk. But currently that risk is priced manually in spreadsheets, leading to businesses paying billions in extra card processing fees.

We're working with the largest banks in payments to fix that, bringing the biggest change to how businesses access card payments in two decades.

Big day for Tuza (formerly Statement) 👀

Today we announce our £4m Seed, led by Rory Stirling at Connect Ventures. Working with Rory is long overdue... Olivia and I couldn't be more excited to get him on board. His enthusiasm for Tuza is infectious.  

Since we launched last year, we’ve helped thousands of businesses with over £1.5bn of card turnover to compare on Tuza. This raise is a big step in building the exchange for payments pricing, helping banks better serve their business customers. 

We’re fortunate to have some excellent partners across banks like Barclays and Worldpay, with several more announced soon. 

Investing alongside Connect, are our friends at Northzone (Jeppe, Pascual), Entrepreneur First (Jonny, Mike, Carl) and Triple Point (Seb) as well as an exceptional group of angels.
