With a brand new material, a new-age manufacturing approach and an advanced knowledge of zero-waste principals, this investment sits at the very heart of Two Magnolias Venture Capital approach to Sustainability solutions. 

Did you know that female protection equipment is tested to 50% of the impact force compared to male protection? With Vikela, for the first time, men and women doing the same job will have equal protection. 

Importantly, this investment marks Two Magnolias Venture Capital first investment into Northern Ireland. Jessica Sue Rasmussen DipWSET and Marie Korde have talked openly of their aim to push Venture Capital into the devolved nations and regions of the UK and this investment into Vikela is testament to that ambition.

Better Night follows Better Gut, science backed products that are specifically targeting the issues faced by women experiencing symptoms of peri or post Menopause. The facts speak for themselves: 
Debbie Wosskow, OBE leadership in this space has taken this conversation firmly into the mainstream. 

In the UK, approximately 13 million women are either peri- or post-menopausal, making up a significant portion of the workforce.
Around 75% of menopausal women in the UK experience symptoms that can affect their daily lives, including their work performance.
Nearly one in four women have considered leaving their jobs due to severe menopausal symptoms.
A survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that 59% of working women experiencing menopause reported that it had a negative impact on their work.

It is a critical imperative to bring this dialogue to life, build a community and solve it for all.
