Today is Day 1 of Year 3. 📅 

Exactly two years ago, Trent Peek and I embarked on this thrilling We Are Fulfilment journey, driven by a vision and fuelled by a whole lot of passion (and perhaps a little naivety). 

🚀Today, I want to share a heartfelt thank you to the exceptional partners and supporters who have walked alongside us, every step of the way. 

📦 To our visionary partners & suppliers: You believed in our growth plans when they were just sketched on a napkin. You shared our vision, challenged our assumptions, and celebrated our victories with open arms. You are the reason we exist. Your trust, feedback, and unwavering support have been our drivers and an intrinsic part of our stories.

👏 To our dedicated team: You are the beating heart of this enterprise. The after-hours, tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and infectious enthusiasm have transformed ideas into reality. We wouldn't be here without your late nights, creative sparks, and unwavering dedication.

🗺️ This journey hasn't been without its twists and turns. But with each obstacle, we've emerged stronger, more resilient, and even more determined. The first two years are quite remarkable and the unforeseen moments you never planned for are those that will stay for us forever.

🎂 This week is our 2nd Birthday at We Are Fulfilment.

📆  2 years ago we were getting racking up and taking in our 1st stock at WAF HQ. 

🧠  Richard and I started a business in the 3PL sector with a passion to do a good job for ecommerce brands, but with virtually no operational knowledge or experience. 

🌪  It has been a whirlwind ride and we're fortunate enough now to have the likes of Craig, Mandy, Michael and Stefan to ensure we are at the forefront of operational excellence. 

🏘  We don't really take the time to reflect at WAF and we will never rest on our laurels, but if we can achieve what we have done in the last 2 years in the next 2 years again then 🎇 🤓 📈  .

😇 By hook or by crook we have managed to assemble a team of all stars that have a passion to succeed and more importantly, ambition to improve every single day. 

💯  Year 3 is the year we find our position in the market, set the foundations for a decade of sustainable and ambitious growth and lead the way in environmental initiatives. 

👯  We're blessed to have new faces in WAF that increase our expertise but also have original members of the team like Meg and Autumn (not sure why she doesn't have LinkedIn yet) who still carry the fire in their belly that got us on this journey in the first place.

🗓️ Almost at the end of my first two months at We Are Fulfilment and what a ride it has been!

My steel-capped boots have already have worn grooves into the concrete floor, and my brain is buzzing with their new processes and product codes. It’s been a whirlwind of learning, adapting, and bringing my previous logistics skills into an entirely new business. 🧮

✋ Let’s be honest, there have been challenges. Mastering new pick-and-pack flow with the team with a million SKUs swirling around you takes some discipline and patience. But here’s the thing: any challenges pale in comparison to the incredible team I’m surrounded by. Every high five feels like a team win, and every challenge fuels our collective hustle.

And as in life, the occasional curveball gets thrown in... a personal hospital visit that tested me to the limit. Talk about a test of adaptability.... But my new team stepped up in the most phenomenal way. 

From covering shifts to sending well wishes, they made me feel supported and seen. I was back on my feet (and back in the warehouse) in no time, feeling incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring crew; 

Mandy McCormack, Michael Harper, Craig Morrison, Trent Peek, Richard Ardis,  Stefan Pica, Lucy Moore.

So, two months in, I’m exhausted, exhilarated, and impressed. I’m in a role where resilience is part of the culture and teamwork shines. And even with the unexpected bumps in the road, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. 

Here’s to many more months of conquering the chaos, celebrating wins with my warehouse warriors, and proving that even hospitals can’t break our logistics spirit. 💥
