The Westons Cider mill is open for harvest 2024! The regions apple orchards are full with beautiful varieties of traditional cider apples and perry pears. Some are just about reaching their peak ripeness and will naturally start to drop from the branches, signalling the time to pick and shake the trees. We source all our fruit from the three counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, including our own orchards and over the next three months, we’ll be welcoming all the fantastic growers to the mill. Week one may be a gradual start pressing in the region of 500 tonnes, but across the season we’ll be aiming to press a delicious 42,000 tonnes of fruit. So much more in every drop!

Exciting news from the Westons Cider mill! Our new shop and tasting room are now open at our historic location in Much Marcle, Herefordshire. We're calling all cider lovers to pay us a visit and explore behind-the-scenes tours and cider tastings as part of our expanded visitor experience to accommodate larger groups and customers. The new space is designed to be enjoyed by all cider fans as well as enhancing tourism in the region. Our shop has tripled in size and you’ll find all our leading brands available to purchase. You’ll also be able to sample the range of ciders through an expert tasting. There is also the exciting addition of a Saturday night tour and private hire. What’s more, the opening coincides with the start of Autumn apple harvest, one of the best times to visit us. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We’re thrilled to be back, working with our friends at The Courtyard Hereford Live events, comedy, film and a café & bar with a wide range of Westons ciders awaits. The Courtyard is a hub for innovation, creativity, and participation for the whole community and as a registered charity, they do so much for our region. We look forward to future projects and fun nights.

At 36.5%, over a third of draught cider stockists have two taps of cider on their bar and this is increasing year on year. Given the challenge of tap space and availability, cider and in particular premium apple cider offers a great way of increasing cider revenue and appealing to cider drinkers looking for an authentic and crafted proposition.
