We're all about the right tool for the job.

When it comes to last mile deliveries in busy urban areas, cargo bikes are the quickest and most efficient way to deliver every time. But which bike is best? 

That depends on what's being delivered 📦 

For quickly shipping out fresh flowers in flatpacked boxes, like those from our client Freddie's Flowers, the Urban Arrow will do a fantastic job 💐

For something like a big HelloFresh box ready to go to a customer's doorstep, the GTrike will handle plenty more of them...

And for smaller, softer ecommerce parcels, both vehicles will fit the bill 🤗

When it comes to carbon emissions, 'offsetting' isn't really... 'offsetting'.

Planting trees won't undo damage that's already been done. In fact, depending on how they're planted, purchasing offsets to plant trees might even do more damage.

The ONLY way to create real change is to prevent the emissions from being created in the first place. 💥 

But how can that work in practicality, when pretty much everything a business does creates an impact?

💥 The Middle Mile 💥 

Did you catch that we've been working alongside West of England Combined Authority and WSP to transport parcels in the ‘middle mile’ (between warehouses in different cities) in underused spaces on Megabus coaches?  🚌 

This service is running as part of the ‘Parcels as Passengers’ initiative, a pioneering venture aimed at making more efficient use of existing resources while reducing traffic on our roads.

Once the parcels reach their destination, we deliver them to doorsteps on our zero emission cargo trikes, ensuring an end-to-end sustainable service. 

Here, rider Chris was transporting packages from our from Bristol hub to be loaded onto the Megabus Falcon en route to Plymouth. 

Our Bristol team is currently doing this three times a week - a good start to implementing more innovative ways to transfer parcels between our cities and help our clients keep their emissions as low as possible 🇬🇧
