Trigger warning: surgery Hayley’s son, Harris, was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma in August 2022 when he was just ten years old. Harris' initial treatment involved a 16-hour procedure to replace part of his pelvis and thigh bone with bone from his lower right leg (fibula). Despite this operation, months spent in a body brace and follow-up procedures, Harris will require corrective surgery for the rest of his life.
