Help us to save vision. | The Cambridge Eye Trust is a charity which was founded in 1970 by a number of Cambridge ophthalmology consultants, especially Mr Peter Watson, who had the vision to improve eye care, fund ophthalmology reseach, drive innovation and support ophthalmology education. 

The Trust has provided specific financial support for the first Professor of Ophthalmology at Cambridge University and continues to support academic ophthalmology in Cambridge by providing departmental grants and equipment. It also funds non-commercial ophthalmic research programmes, thereby expediting discovery of new treatments.
