Chemical corrosion is the fastest-growing failure mode in air conditioner units today. FinkoteZx's patented application method provides a coating process resistant to the chemical exposures that affect the HVAC industry. Corrosion thrives on both the chemical and mechanical aspects of the environment. To form a corrosion cell we need three things: an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte. Most coils are multi-metal (copper and aluminum), so anodic and cathodic surfaces are present.
