On this International Biodiversity Day, we're sharing our next UNSUSTAINABLE series: the biodiversity data gap. Biodiversity is disappearing at the fastest rate in human history but we do not have the data infrastructure to manage biodiversity at a global scale. Novel biodiversity monitoring, verification, and reporting technologies are emerging to solve this problem and help halt and reverse biodiversity loss. Check out the blog for more.

The Net Zero Insights Q1'24 report shows an outperformance by European Climate Tech with consistently greater number of funding rounds over the last few quarters. Given high % at Seed, many of those will convert to Series As and Bs in the quarters to come.

Europe had $21bn in funding (3.5x the US) led by mega rounds like Northvolt but even at "Early Stage" Europe raised $6.8bn or 2.5x the US.
