Crazy news for the autonomous vehicle industry, and for everyone that's ever used a rideshare. The Lyft <> Nexar Inc. partnership means autonomous vehicles are going to become our new normal. With Nexar's dash cams, Lyft will be able to use a dataset including "over 45 petabytes of real-world footage, spanning 200 million miles driven monthly, with over 5 trillion images and over 59 million videos" - pushing AV technology leaps forward.
