BAMCAP (formerly BetaAngels) is a venture capital group formed by proven tech entrepreneurs, senior executives and investors. We invest in well-defined hi-growth ventures with potential to lead their respective markets.

Core members of our group have led dozens of investment and company-building efforts targeting global markets - and includes experts in marketplaces, media, components, IP development & licensing, data analytics, mobile apps & games, mobile platforms, digital health, medical devices, amongst other fields.

We are present in major innovation hubs such as Tel Aviv, London, Boston and NYC-Philly. We invest via sole purpose vehicles (SPVs), forming one for every investment we make with involvement of relevant experts in each of our efforts. Our initial investment steps are typically in Seed or Series A stages. First and foremost we look to work and form strong productive alliances with outstanding entrepreneurs.

#Washington-based #StrikeGraph secures $8.5 million in #funding. Leading the round was #BAMCAP, with participation from Rise of the Rest, Madrona, and Information Venture Partners, current investors. BAMCAP partner Jim Sheward became a new board member.

The funds will be utilised by the company to #concentrate on #expanding its #customer base and developing its AI technology. It also plans to increase product capabilities to accommodate larger customers and free up CISOs to manage their wide range of responsibilities within the company.

The Strike Graphs Many of its clients find that using Strike Graph speeds up #compliance by 80% from the beginning to #certification. The organisation offers auditing services for HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PCI DSS, NIST, FedRamp, CCPA/CPRA, TISAX, and GDPR compliance programmes as part of its commitment to promoting certifications across industries.

Today we welcome S2G Ventures' decision to announce its second investment in TechMet Ltd as part of our $300m funding round. The deal brings S2G’s commitment in TechMet to $50m so far, and comes in the same week that we received an additional $50m commitment from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. 
 
TechMet’s Chairman and CEO Brian Menell, said: “S2G’s very welcome equity investment, alongside the additional commitment from the US government this week, is a great endorsement of the role that TechMet is playing in the energy transition and the move away from fossil fuels.”

An important day for TechMet at #cop28  as our Chairman and CEO Brian Menell and U.S. International Development Finance Corporation CEO Scott Nathan sign the commitment letter for a further $50m to TechMet. 

This funding commitment is part of TechMet's latest $300m funding round.  The funds from this raise will be used to continue building projects that produce critical metals for the energy transition, including the Phalaborwa project in South Africa, which is being developed by Rainbow Rare Earths.
