Munich's startup ecosystem is more vibrant than ever with unstoppable, passionate entrepreneurs and investors having gathered at the 4th UnternehmerTUM Ultimate Demo Day making it through the winter weather, including Future Energy Ventures. 

Thank you to the partners Amazon Web Services (AWS), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), EIT Urban Mobility and Munich Urban Colab for their support with making it happen.

Congratulations to all the promising early-stage startups in areas of energy, construction, sustainable cities, health care as well as deep-tech and AI. Keep up the great work!

Finally, I was really impressed with the guest speakers Justin Leone, Nicola Winter and Oliver Bierhoff,  who shared true words of wisdom with us from the fields of gastronomy, astronomy & space and football. My key takeaways:

🚀 Embrace technology instead of fearing it, it will take you to places you have never imagined

🤼  Teamship and being part of something special makes you perform better. Going through tough times together and coming out on top of it bonds people together and creates strong teams. Choosing your partners is the most important decision - they can help you lift off or keep you grounded for life.

🏋♂️ Character is much more important than talent. Grit, believing in oneself and passion about the mission are key to overcoming the challenges that will inevitably appear on the way.
