Cofertility is transforming the landscape of egg freezing and egg donation with an innovative model that bridges these two services. Their approach allows individuals to freeze their eggs while concurrently supporting families struggling with infertility through egg donation.
 
By radically restructuring the costs associated with egg freezing, Cofertility aims to make this option more accessible.  The company was founded by a team with first-hand experience navigating fertility challenges. They recognized the need for a new paradigm in egg donation, which has traditionally involved anonymity and compensation.
 
Through Cofertility's @freezebyco program, clients who meet eligibility requirements can freeze their eggs at no cost by donating half to the egg donor pool, aligning with guidelines from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Our very own Assia Grazioli-Venier wrote this piece for Sports Business Journal at the start of the year, on why investing in women's healthcare is key to the growth and success of women's sports. 

“The commercialization of women’s sports depends on improved athlete performance outcomes to meet growing audience entertainment expectations. As it stands, female athletes are nowhere close to their full potential because knowledge is relatively limited on how their bodies perform in sport. Women were regularly excluded from clinical trials until 1993, when Congress passed an inclusion law. This lack of participation hampered our understanding of female-specific health issues and put us far behind the ball in terms of on-field performance. Even today it is estimated that under 10% of all exercise science studies focus exclusively on women. Addressing this disparity is mandatory for industry growth.“
