We're excited to announce that our angel investment syndicate, SandstormVC  has reached an inflection point, where our ambition grows from a loose friends-and-family WhatsApp group, we are now trying to scale and help founders globally with our network and experience.

Our 20+ members, all full-time professionals in investment firms, Big-4s, finance execs at multinationals and operators bring a unique mix of leverage to our portfolio. 

Over the past years, we've started to curate a diverse and dynamic portfolio. As it stands, we are now investors in six promising companies, each with the potential to transform its respective industry.

For us at SandstormVC, the topic of mental health is center stage, and we are happy to have led Healper's pre-seed round at an inflection point of their journey with an incredible milestone, having matched 1% of Denmark's youth on the Healper platform (https://lnkd.in/dPYfHAa4) 

Healper is solving the mental health crisis with a two-pronged approach: helping people find the right therapist AND helping therapists manage their practice in a digital and GDPR compliant way:

For patients: A simple approach to booking the right psychologist
Healper is a booking platform that matches clients with mental health
challenges with the certified mental health counselor according to their
mental health challenges, personality, and other factors factors. This increas-
es the chance of chemistry between patient and psychologist from 20% to 90%. You can book, pay, and give feedback through the platform.

For psychologists: Find suita-ble clients, focus on their therapy, and let Healper handle the rest. Healper is a marketplace where psy-
chologists can specialize and focus on therapy. The psychologist creates
a profile, sets the price and begins to take clients. Thereby, This drastically
reduces administration and the client acquisition cost, allowing psychologists to take more clients. It is a win-win.

The team around Andreas Aabo, Tobias B. Pankoke and Rasmus Ravn Frost was what ultimately made our decision to invest in Healper easy. They call themselves "The nerds who wants to disrupt mental health". A
