We are a sector agnostic fund, with a keen interest in Enterprise SaaS, Consumer Internet, Deep Tech and the Creator Economy. We invest anywhere from Pre-Seed to Series A, with ticket sizes ranging from $250K to $1.5M.

The fund is run by a group of entrepreneurs turned investors, who have built, scaled and exited successful ventures in the past. As an operator VC, Shastra works closely with portfolio companies to help them scale effectively.

Today marks a monumental achievement for our portfolio company, AgniKul Cosmos, as they successfully test-fired their first rocket, Agnibaan SOrTeD. Powered by the world's first single-piece 3D printed engine and India's first semi-cryogenic liquid engine, this milestone signifies a major advancement in the private space industry in India. This groundbreaking feat also marks the first launch from a private launchpad in India.

The successful launch is a testament to the relentless dedication, innovative spirit, and cutting-edge technology that the entire AgniKul Cosmos team led by Srinath Ravichandran, Moin SPM, and Satya Chakravarthy has brought to the table. With the invaluable support from ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, & IN-SPACe, and the sheer determination of the team, AgniKul Cosmos is setting new benchmarks in space technology.
