Our Wideye colleagues Gilles Back and Yongjiang Li are on tour in China! The agenda includes mainly the China International Import Expo in Shangai. Did you know that the roof is currently one of the trendiest places for car manufacturers to place their LiDAR? That's why at the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Nagoya (Japan) last week, we were delighted to showcase our new concept of integrating a LiDAR into the roof in the form of a uniquely shaped glass, on the AGC stand. This 'bumpy roof' is visually innovative as the integration is seamless, maintaining the sleek lines of the vehicle. The shape and position of the glass trim is optimized for LiDAR performance, providing a large field of view for optimum perception of the environment. The concept will provide OEM design teams with a new perception and pave the way for solving the many challenges of LiDAR roof integration. - Wideye in China - It was in Suzhou on June 22, at the EAC tradeshow dedicated to New Energy & Autonomous Vehicle, and in front of a very attentive audience that Yongjiang Li had the pleasure of sharing a presentation focusing on Wideye solutions for LiDARS integration. LiDAR integration is indeed at the heart of all automotive developments in China, demonstrating the growing adoption of this technology.
