It also provides inflight entertainment and connectivity services on Wi-Fi enabled aircrafts; and Rapid Rewards loyalty program that enables program members to earn points for dollars spent on Southwest base fares. In addition, the company offers a suite of digital platforms to support customers' travel needs, including websites and apps; and SWABIZ, an online booking tool. Further, it provides ancillary services, such as Southwest's EarlyBird Check-In, upgraded boarding, and transportation of pets and unaccompanied minors. The company was incorporated in 1967 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

That's what Captain Sean said as he introduced his First Officer to the cabin before their flight to Phoenix on Christmas Eve. After that flight, he could never say it again!

From the moment Marian started flying as a First Officer at Southwest, it was her dream to operate a flight with her father as the Captain. 

On Christmas Eve last year, her dream came true. Not only did she share the flight deck with her father, Captain Sean, but her mother and sister came along for the ride as well! As you can see from the photos, this 35,000 foot family reunion has been years in the making. ❤️

Kelli, a Flight Attendant with 42 years under her wings, not only inspired her sister but also her niece to join the Southwest Family. Her sister Dawn has been with us for 32 years and Hannah, Dawn's daughter, just celebrated her 2nd year as a Southwest Flight Attendant. Recently, the trio worked their first flight together, and had a wonderful time! Oh, and did we mention they have another sister, Paige, who has been working at DAL for almost 10 years now?! When Southwest Employees at our MKE - Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport Station heard from airport employees that young Lucy had accidentally left Gracie, her beloved swan, behind at the airport, they did everything they could to locate Lucy's special friend. After some teamwork with employees at MKE, we made sure Lucy and Gracie were reunited the second Lucy and her family returned from their trip. #SouthwestHeart #HolidayWithHeart

Meet husband and wife Pilot duo, Joel & Shelley, who first met at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, where they bonded over their shared love for flying C-130s and adventure. 

Following their service in the Air Force, Joel joined Southwest as a Pilot and Shelley focused on raising their twins. Once the kids were older, Shelley pursued her dream of returning to the skies. After completing her training, she has now joined Joel in the Southwest Flight Deck! The couple loves flying together on the 'Love Airline' and spreading joy to all their Crews and Customers.
