Traditionally, Ethereum's monolithic #architecture handled all the critical duties. However, it posed challenges for scalability. That's where Mantle comes in. Mantle Network's modular approach breaks down these responsibilities across different networks, making the process more efficient and cost-effective.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:

1️⃣ 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Mantle Network validates transactions using its own network of nodes, which are then submitted in batches to Ethereum for processing.

2️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀: The Ethereum network reaches a consensus on including the transaction batches in the updated chain state, ensuring the integrity of the system.

3️⃣ 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: In optimistic rollups like Mantle, a challenge period allows any network participant to dispute the validity of submitted transactions. Ethereum acts as a settlement layer, resolving challenges by re-executing the transactions on L1.

4️⃣ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Transaction data is crucial for verifying proposed blocks and enabling potential challenges. Mantle DA, powerded by EigenDA technology, securely stores and makes this data available to all participants.

Think of this system as an assembly line in a car factory, where each station specializes in handling a specific task, making the entire process more efficient and cost-effective.

But what makes EigenLayer's DA technology so valuable? It taps into Ethereum's validator network, leveraging their staked ETH and economic incentives for proper participation. Moreover, Mantle Network's $MNT token can be staked alongside ETH, opening up new possibilities and use cases.

#MantleNetwork's modular architecture increases Ethereum scalability and reduces data storage costs. By leveraging EigenLayer's services, Mantle inherits Ethereum's high-security standards, ensuring the utmost trust in the network.
