Ukrainian orphan Bogdan Yermokhin, who was forcibly taken to Russia, has returned home after being brokered by Qatar and the UN children's agency UNICEF. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sanctioned 108 people, including a former Prime Minister and a former Education Minister, for their involvement in the abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children from occupied territories. Thousands of Ukrainian children have been taken to Belarus since the invasion, with over 2,000 children transported to the Dubrava children's center in Minsk. Efforts are being made to repatriate an orphan from Mariupol to prevent his involuntary military service.
