Long story short, CAPI exists because we were sick of mass-produced drinks and thought that Australians deserved their own high quality range. CAPI is Melbourne born, bred, and 100% Australian-owned. Everything we do celebrates what we love about life here, from lazy beach days, to being cool about having to wait an hour for brunch.  

We source and blend the best natural ingredients and we don’t use any preservatives. CAPI sparkling fruit sodas and mixers are the perfect refreshment on their own, or can be used to elevate any quality spirit. Our award-winning water comes from just 50 minutes outside of Melbourne. Introducing the Papa Salt Coastal Gin Paloma! 🍊

It’s the first foray for Margot Robbie and the Papa Salt team into canned RTDs, and we’re thrilled they chose our Grapefruit Soda to help create it.

Since their launch in May 2023, this easy-drinking coastal gin has quickly become an Aussie favourite. The new canned Paloma sits at 5% ABV and under 100 calories, and we don't know about you, but it’s about to be our summertime go-to.

If there’s one thing that CAPI’s founder Pitzy Folk has instilled in our team, it’s to be fearless and to accept that you will (and should) make mistakes - and that sitting down together for a meal is the best way to do business.

The father daughter duo have a shared entrepreneurial spirit, which has led to the creation of CAPI (founded by Pitzy) and Lucy Folk (founded by Lucy). With both teams sharing an office, a sense of family has always been present in the way that we operate. “I think in a sense we have kind of blurred the lines a bit with family and business,” says Lucy. “He’s upstairs and my team’s downstairs”.

Along with this warmth, hospitality has always informed Pity’s approach to doing business. “I’m a fisherman so I love to entertain – it’s something people never get, fresh fish, unless you catch it. I always say when you entertain, the biggest thing has to be generosity. If you don’t do it well and you don’t give it all, don’t do it.”

And that hospitality is something that has flowed through to CAPI’s business model from inception through to today - our community and the relationships built from it are invaluable to us.
