Greetings from our very own neighbourhood: Berlin-Friedrichshain! 🌍 This is where REWE Group unveiled the country's very first store constructed with an innovative material called infra lightweight concrete, and it's a game-changer.

This unique material is not only structurally lightweight but also boasts impressive thermal insulation properties, thanks to the air trapped within the concrete. This store marks a pioneering venture as Germany's first commercial construction using this innovative concrete. 

While this is a remarkable achievement in sustainable construction, it's a reminder that sustainability in food retail extends beyond just the shelves. It's equally crucial that stores offering sustainable products also consider the design and functionality of their spaces for a holistic approach to environmental responsibility. Applause to REWE for leading the way in both innovative construction and product offerings! 🌿💚
