🔐There are multiple types of vesting, each with unique merits: Time-based, Milestone-based, Immediate, and Hybrid.

Our customers’ vesting schedule analysis shows that ~81% of companies use a four-year vesting schedule. 

More importantly, vesting safeguards company investments and controls dilution. 

We have seen that 47.5% of the companies use a quarterly vesting period, while 27.6% use a yearly one.

Understanding that every company has different goals with its stock-based compensation plan is essential. Hence, vesting has to be customized based on the goals and requirements.
