Hats off to the Canada China Business Council for hosting another oustanding AGM and Business Awards last week. WPIC Marketing + Technologies was honoured to be presented with the Marketing Award for our "traceability livestream" campaign for our brand partner New Roots Herbal. Through a series of seven carefully curated livestream events, WPIC brought consumers inside New Roots Herbal’s Canadian laboratories and manufacturing facilities, showcasing the brand’s commitment to quality, transparency, and authenticity. New Roots Herbal has become a supplement leader in China due to their embrace of China's unique digital tools for brand-building. We were also proud to host the CCBC's Women's Business Mission to China, which was held in conjunction with the AGM for female founders, CEOs and executives of Canadian companies looking to grow their businesses in China. Laura Tang , WPIC's Director of Social Media, ran a session breaking down China's diverse e-commerce platforms and how brands can crack into the market. It was amazing to see the lineup of dignitaries and Canadian business leaders at the AGM dinner on Friday night, including Amabssador Jennifer May , Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay, and Olivier Desmarais . There's a palpable sense of optimism about the direction of the trade relationship. Mark Rowswell (Dashan) brought the house down as always.
