Ahead of World Cancer Day, join us as we cast a light on cancer cachexia. For a long time, cachexia has been recognized as an adverse effect of cancer and it has been estimated that this devastating wasting disease affects 50–80% of cancer patients and accounts for up to 20% of cancer deaths. 
 
Other than supportive care, no globally approved products are available for this patient population so there remains an important unmet need for effective new treatments.
 
At Actimed, our work is rooted in our mission to bring innovation to the forefront of cancer cachexia treatment and redefine the standard of care for this under-served and vulnerable patient population.
