Electric vehicles of the near future will be far cleaner than they are today thanks to recycled battery materials. Making new EV battery materials from recycled batteries with our patented Hydro-to-Cathode® process is much better for the environment than using primary (mined) materials.

How much better? If we made 10,000 metric tons of NMC 622 from recycled materials (that's about enough for 125,000 EVs), the carbon emissions reduction alone would be like taking 45,435 gas-powered vehicles off the road for a year! By 2030, we expect that carbon emissions reduction figure to be equivalent to taking 83,478 gas-powered vehicles off the road for a year!
