Banpu demonstrated its commitment to driving business through good corporate governance at CG Day 2023, with the theme "CG Safeguard," showcasing Banpu's dedication to upholding business ethics. We organized a storytelling contest with the topic "Every Story Needs To Be Told," encouraging employees to share inspiring stories about colleagues who serve as role models, inspiring others to adhere to the corporate governance policy and code of conduct. Throughout the year, Banpu has conducted internal communication activities to emphasize the importance of business ethics for employees and encourage them to always apply these principles in their work.

Banpu is looking for internal audit manager who have demonstrated understanding of conducting integrated management systems audits as a Lead Auditor, working with and managing internal audit team members.

Responsibility
📍Participate in developing Global Internal Audit Strategy and Audit Plan
📍Review the quality of each audit project
📍Set up development plan, coach and evaluate performance of internal audit team
📍Manage relationship with key stakeholders: Management, Internal Audit-JV, etc. and support Audit Committee
📍Help driving initiative, new idea or approach that improve the process or value adding from team.
📍Conduct and lead data analytic to support audit projects of the whole Banpu Group
📍Develop “Continuous/Automatic Audit” by utilizing system and data to improve efficiency of auditing
📍Other duties as assigned

Qualification
📍Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic or related fields
📍Having 8 years working experience of internal audit in managerial level
📍Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) is an advantage
📍Experience in working with multi-national company
📍Knowledge of energy business is an advantage
📍Good planning organizing, executing, controlling/monitoring, finalizing, and evaluating
📍Ability to travel aboard
📍Good communication in both written & spoken English (TOEIC score 700)

Banpu, in collaboration with the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies of Mahidol University, organized the 18th Power Green Camp. The camp provided an opportunity for 50 young individuals to delve into the world of environmental science under the theme "Waste Warriors: Green Cloud, Green Tech, Green Influencer." The theoretical component of the program covered the life cycle of waste management, hands-on experiments with geographic information systems (GIS), and the art of content creation alongside environmental influencers, etc. Additionally, participants engaged in practical activities, including boat expeditions to explore garbage issues and collect waste in the Khlong Lat Phrao community area in Bangkok. They also studied technology and processes for producing high-quality recycled plastic pellets in Rayong Province and learned how to manage food scraps in a community using black soldier fly (BSF) larvae on Ko Si Chang in Chonburi Province. The goal of these activities is to enhance experiences of the young participants and inspire them to become active contributors to drive positive, long-term changes for the environment.

2023 The Annual Strategic Conference (ASC) was held under the theme "Dawn of a New Era," signifying the transition into Banpu’s fifth decade. The primary focus of this event was to strengthen existing businesses, accelerate business transformation under the Greener & Smarter strategy, reinforce the strong financial strategy to support growth, explore new businesses to drive transformation, and address the challenges of the "Never Normal". All of these efforts are aimed at advancing Banpu's energy businesses in order to enable a better living for all, in line with our main purpose.
