Even greater #transparency for our customers: The carbon-reduced steels and steel tube products available from our #CliMore® product range now come with certified emission certificates. 📃 

These provide specific CO2 values for the products in accordance with ISO 14067. The certificates cover the product life cycle from production of the primary material to the ready-to-ship steel or steel tube product at the factory gate. The tool we use for calculating CO2 emissions has been certified by GUTcert GmbH. 

This creates great transparency and a decisive advantage for our customers; they can rely on precise, consistent and comparable CO2 calculations for our products. This in turn helps them achieve their own sustainability goals. 🌱

Stay abroad - our apprentices Jan & Giuliano in Shreveport ☀
 
The apprentices Jan & Giuliano from Paderborn spent almost three months at our Steel/Tube plant in Shreveport, USA, as part of their stay abroad. 
 
The two process technologist apprentices were able to gain many exciting experiences outside of their working environment in addition to their main activity in the maintenance department. Especially their visit to New Orleans will remain in their memories for a long time: "This visit was a very great experience, which we wanted to experience right from the start and were able to realize during our last week in the USA".

The stay abroad is funded by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung in Germany.

BENTELER and Idesam join forces for the #Amazon 🌱

Thanks to the initiative, families living in the region benefit from additional sources of income and increased dietary diversity, which helps contribute to an improved quality of life. At the same time, it promotes the preservation of the rainforest in the Uatumã/Amazonas reserve, the world’s largest tropical forest.
