Thrilled to announce that we've completed our Series A fundraise of $17.5MM, with investment from ADM Ventures, Lever VC, Genoa Ventures, Cavallo Ventures, Thia Ventures, iSelect Fund, Stage 1 Fund, Lifely VC and Satori Capital – as well as our friends Daniel Katz (founder of No Cow), Sia Furler and Joan Jett. The capital will allow us to expand and scale our meat protein offering as we march to market with our valued pet food partners.

We’re thrilled to announce the latest additions to Bond, Jason Polzin and Tomas Belloso. Their arrivals mark the Company’s advance from R&D to commercialization.

Jason Polzin adds strength to our fermentation team as VP of Process Development and Engineering. Over the past 25 years Jason has successfully scaled a multitude of products from lab to commercial production at companies such as EVERY®, Modern Meadow, Cargill and Tate & Lyle. 

Tomas Belloso joins as VP of Regulatory Affairs. Tomas has two decades of experience working with the FDA, FDA’s Center For Veterinary Medicine and AAFCO to commercialize a variety of products. His career includes posts at Calysta, Wilbur-Ellis Nutrition and Royal Canin; now, split between St. Louis and the Front Range, Tomas will lead regs for Bond’s meat proteins in the U.S. and abroad.

Bond is growing. And no better way to keep it that way than with our latest addition - Chief Business Officer, Cynthia Bryant.

For the past two decades Cindy has led business development efforts, closing deals valued at hundreds of $MM, at companies such as Amyris, Demetrix and Novozymes out of Copenhagen, Denmark and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, where she managed its biofuels, biomass and household care units.

Now in Boulder she’ll be blazing new trails, mapping out commercial meat protein programs for our international pet food partners.

Great to have Cindy in the family.
