🙌 Today, on Pan-African Women's Day, we celebrate the tireless, strong, and resilient women who are the backbone of #agriculture across Africa. In Africa, women play a vital role in ensuring #foodsecurity, sustainable farming practices, and the well-being of their communities. At Ceva, we stand for these incredible women who make a monumental impact on agriculture every day.

🌍 Among Pan-African women are farmers, the guardians of our fields, the nurturers of our livestock, and the stewards of our natural resources. They manage diverse tasks, from planting and harvesting to caring for animals and conserving the environment. Their knowledge, dedication, and hard work drive progress in agriculture and ensure that food reaches our tables.

📊As the backbone of the sector, they represent 52% of the total population in agriculture and are responsible for around 50% of agricultural work on farms in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Reports show that in some African countries, women devote around 60% of their time to agricultural activities - over 60% of women working in the SSA work in the agricultural sector.

🏉❤️  L'IHU LIRYC - Heart rhythm disease Institute , dont Ceva et l'Union Bordeaux Bègles (UBB) sont partenaires, a organisé il y a quelques semaines une visite guidée en présence de 3 joueurs du club, afin de leur faire découvrir les activités de l'institut en matière de recherche sur les maladies du rythme cardiaque.

📸 L'occasion pour les Dr @Pierre Jaïs, directeur général et Dr @Mélèze Hocini, directrice générale adjointe, de mettre en lumière le travail des collaborateurs au sein de cet institut à la pointe de l'innovation.

En parallèle, une sensibilisation aux gestes qui sauvent et un moment de convivialité avec des enfants suivis en cardiologie ont jalonné cet évènement.

We had the opportunity to present our partnership with Hapster, a digital ecosystem that optimises the onboarding process at Ceva through training and knowledge transfer with tools and methodologies. 

During the event, our project with Hapster was nominated in a trophy award that highlighted innovative initiatives in HR programmes. We would like to thank all the teams involved at Ceva!

🏉 Il y a quelques semaines, lors d'un moment convivial regroupant les étudiants en alternance terminant leur cursus chez Ceva, nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir le joueur de rugby Jefferson Poirot (UBB), parrain de la promotion 2023-2024. L'occasion pour les alternants d'échanger avec le récent finaliste du Top 14 en abordant différents sujets : le sport bien sûr, mais également la passion, l'engagement et le courage, des qualités nécessaires dans tous les aspects de leur vie professionnelle.
