What is this textured insect protein that we‘ve been talking about lately? 🤔  


This ingredient, made by an extrusion process, has outstanding characteristics! It is somewhat similar to already existing options of textured vegetable protein (TVP), BUT:

🌱 It is a hybrid protein, combining insect-derived protein and plant-based protein 

🍔 It is ideal for meat applications thanks to its meat-like texture

🥩 The ingredient’s natural flavor closely resembles red meat, eliminating the need for additives to achieve a meaty taste - all thanks to insect protein! 

😋 Naturally containing healthy unsaturated fats from insects, this ingredient once again proves to be a perfect fit for meat applications – fats enhance the overall taste, juiciness, texture and nutrition

Our ingredient was served as a nachos topping and received supporting feedback for its appealing texture and flavour, gaining recognition from food industry experts and enthusiasts.
