Hexagon Composites ASA, together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells composite pressure cylinders and fuel systems in Norway, Europe, North America, South-East Asia, the Middle East, and internationally. The company operates through Hexagon Agility & CNG LDV, Hexagon Purus, Hexagon Digital Wave, and Hexagon Ragasco LPG segments. The Hexagon Agility & CNG LDV segment provides clean fuel solutions for commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, and gaseous energy transportation. Hexagon Purus segment provides high pressure cylinders, vehicle systems, and battery backs for fuel cell and battery electric vehicles. The Hexagon Digital Wave segment offers cylinder testing and monitoring technology solutions that reduce down-time and inspection costs while improving inspection accuracy. The Hexagon Ragasco LPG segment manufacturers composite liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders for leisure, household, and industrial applications. Hexagon Composites ASA was incorporated in 1985 and is headquartered in Ålesund, Norway.

📣Big news! Hexagon Composites announces the sale of Hexagon Ragasco  to Worthington Enterprises.

“Hexagon Ragasco has been an important part of the Hexagon Group’ for over 20 years, and we take great pride in the position the company has developed to date. Worthington Enterprises is a highly respected player in our industry. This transaction will enable Hexagon Ragasco to grow in new geographies and verticals,” says Jon Erik Engeset, CEO Hexagon Composites.

Hexagon has also entered an agreement with Worthington to acquire 49% of their Sustainable Energy Solutions business.
 
Worthington Enterprises will acquire 100% of Hexagon Ragasco and the sale is expected to close on or around 3 June.

Driving the transition to sustainable trucking!🌎
 
✅ The #X15N is the first #naturalgas engine that fully goes head-to-head with diesel in the heavy-duty sector. 

🚛Kenworth Truck Co. today announced they are showcasing its new demo truck with the X15N and Hexagon Agility’s fuel system at ACT Expo in Las Vegas.

⚙️The first trucks with 15-liter natural gas engine will begin production in Q3 2024,  and customers can select a factory customized truck frame for easy install of Hexagon Agility CNG/RNG fuel systems that can deliver up to a 265-diesel gallon equivalent.
 
 “We are pleased to partner with Hexagon Agility to provide Kenworth customers with a natural-gas engine solution that will reduce emissions in a variety of on-highway and vocational applications,” said Kyle Kimball, Kenworth Director of Marketing.
