A moment in the making! The first run off our copper still in Valpo is officially underway. Just like when we first fired up the still in Three Oaks, it’s only fitting that this first spirit is Last Feather Rye—a nod to where it all began. This moment is more than just a milestone; it’s a celebration of craft, tradition, and the journey we’ve shared with all of you. As we raise a glass to this occasion, we’re toasting to all of you, to one year in Valpo, and to the many more years (and spirits) to come.

We’re thrilled to unveil our 6th release from the Sea of Monsters: Re-Animator Coffee Porter – our very first dark beer! This classic English-style porter is infused with a bold dose of house-brewed Honduran natural coffee, roasted to perfection by our friends at Yaggy Road Roasting Company. Featuring a blend of pale, chocolate, biscuit, and caramel malts, this brew captures the essence of a rich, satisfying porter, while the locally-roasted Honduran coffee adds an invigorating kick. Inspired by the 1980s horror classic Re-Animator, which tells the chilling tale of a medical student who discovers a compound that can bring the dead back to life, this beer offers a unique twist on both brewing and storytelling. Please note: Re-Animator Coffee Porter is caffeinated – ideal for those who enjoy their coffee with a kick!

Introducing Thalassophobia from the Sea of Monsters Brewery! Dive into a churning sea of hop flavors with this brew, featuring a blend of Michigan, Oregon, and New Zealand hops. We’ve used Idaho 7 and Michigan Chinook, and then doubled down with Citra and Pacific Sunrise for a truly epic taste experience! We named our IPA Thalassophobia to capture the intense fear of deep water. The name evokes the diverse origins of our hops—Lake Michigan, the American West Coast, and the coastline of New Zealand—reflecting the bold and immersive character of this West Coast IPA.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our very first IPA—The Paulding Light! This Hazy Session IPA brings a bright, easy-drinking hoppy experience like no other. Crafted with 100% Michigan-grown hops, The Paulding Light is double dry-hopped with Cascade and El Dorado, ensuring every sip is a celebration of local flavor. This bright and easy-drinking IPA is brewed with 100% Michigan-grown hops and double dry hopped with Michigan Cascade and El Dorado for an extra burst of hoppy goodness. The Paulding Light is named after the mysterious paranormal phenomenon in Michigan's Upper Peninsula—just as elusive and intriguing as this hazy IPA!

Introducing Hollow Harvest from Sea of Monsters Brewery! This brew is particularly special as it marks our third batch to hit the taps, brewed on our own system. The wildflower honey, sourced from Great Lakes Bee Company, adds a unique twist, fermenting to deliver a dry, not sweet, final product. Combined with the distinctive flavors of Michigan Copper hops, Hollow Harvest offers a dry and pleasantly hoppy profile. The name "Hollow Harvest" speaks to our deep respect for the environment and the crucial role of pollinators in agriculture. It underscores our commitment to sustainability and quality craftsmanship in every batch we create. Join us in celebrating this new addition to our lineup starting July 25th!
