Today's focus is on this very special series of limited editions by Amani Lewis, presented at Art Basel #Miami #2023Edition . Amani's art focuses on sharing the complex stories of Baltimore's Black community. Their artistic process combines overlays of digitally manipulated photographs with vibrant layers of paint, pastel, glitter, and embroidery, crafting whimsical and magical images that challenge the often negative depictions of Blackness perpetuated in mainstream media.
