We’re excited to announce that Alice Denyer has been promoted to Clinical Research Lead at Lintbells | Home of YuMOVE. Alice joined Lintbells in May 2022, initially working across both the Vet Technical and R&D teams before fully transitioning into the R&D team in February 2024. Her dedication and expertise have now earned her the role of Clinical Research Lead, where she will focus on advancing our R&D strategy by designing and overseeing clinical studies, and driving research initiatives that help support pet health and wellbeing. This was Hannah’s first packaging project from concept through to final design at YuMOVE, and her hard work has now hit the shelves at Pets at Home! Hannah shared, “It’s a big career dream come true to see the packaging I designed in store for the very first time.” Her manager, Glenn Walker , added, “Hannah has taken to her new role looking after all things packaging like a duck to water. As Recycle Week continues, at Lintbells | Home of YuMOVE, we’re committed to a Circular Economy approach – rethinking waste by reusing, recycling and designing with sustainability in mind. 🌍 Here’s how we’re making progress: 📋 We've achieved FSC certification and added OPRL labels to all packaging to improve recyclability 🔄 We're working on creating recyclable packaging solutions by streamlining pouches, bottles and pumps 📦 We're introducing shelf-ready packaging to optimise transport and reduce emissions Recently, our team visited India with rePurpose Global to witness how they’re tackling the plastic waste crisis. Through this partnership, we’ve committed to recovering 210 tonnes of plastic by 2026, the equivalent of 21 million plastic bottles. Back home, we’ve also pledged to offset 40kg of plastic waste per employee over the next three years, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability. ♻️🌍 Together, we’re taking action to create a greener future for the planet and our pets. 💚🐾 #RecycleWeek #Sustainability

It’s Recycle Week! ♻️ This year’s theme, ‘Rescue Me,’ is all about keeping recyclable items out of the bin and making better use of valuable resources. 🌍 Want to help at home? Here are 6 simple changes you can make as a pet owner to contribute to a more sustainable planet: 1. Go paperless on pet insurance and vet communications. 2. Use reusable pet wipes instead of single-use ones for muddy paws. 3. Choose biodegradable poo bags to minimise plastic waste. 4. Wash pet bedding at 30°C to save energy. 5. Donate unwanted toys and collars to shelters. 6. Bring a reusable cup on dog walks to cut down on single-use plastics. In the lead-up to this year’s Recycle Week, Louise Kidby , Head of Content, and Kerry Doble , our Chief Sustainability Officer, spent a week in India gaining a deeper understanding of the global waste crisis and seeing firsthand how our partner, rePurpose Global , is developing real, scalable solutions to tackle the problem. They saw overflowing landfills and witnessed how plastic waste is spilling into natural areas. It was a humbling experience that reinforced our commitment to doing our part – reducing, recovering, and recycling plastic waste in environmentally sensitive communities around the world. Reflecting on the trip, Louise shared: “Seeing tourist hotspots choked by plastic waste and witnessing informal workers in hazardous conditions was heartbreaking. But visiting rePurpose Global’s projects showed the power of community-driven solutions – where local women are coming together, reclaiming their environment, turning waste into value, and building brighter futures.” We’re proud to partner with rePurpose Global, whose team is tackling plastic waste head-on through a network of impactful projects around the world. With over 2,300 waste workers, they’re making a real difference by tirelessly sorting and processing plastic waste ethically and effectively. As of April 2024, repurpose Global has recovered 28 million kgs of plastic waste from nature through partnerships with businesses. Building on this impact, we’ve committed to funding the recovery of an additional 210 tonnes by 2026 – the equivalent of 21 million plastic bottles. Currently, our support is focused on two main projects, one in Indonesia and one in Colombia. Back home, we’ve also pledged to offset 40kg of plastic waste per employee over the next three years. What a privilege it is to partner with Support Dogs , an incredible charity dedicated to saving and enhancing the lives of children and adults with challenging conditions and disabilities. Support Dogs’ assistance dogs enable their owners to live more social and independent lives by helping with household tasks, detecting oncoming seizures and providing love and companionship. We’re excited to sponsor a Support Dogs puppy by providing financial support for their training and donating a lifetime supply of supplements. Lintbells staff will also be able to get involved through salary sacrifice, skill sharing and fundraising opportunities. “With such an important job to do, it’s critical that assistance dogs get a great start in life – and that’s where we come in,” says Lintbells Chief Commercial Officer Andy Smith. “Our market-leading supplements are designed to help keep dogs of all ages healthy and active so they can continue doing what they do best.
