This is how GoFynd hit 1 million app downloads in 30 days ⬇️ The fashion ecommerce brand GoFynd had already refined its app for a couple of years in 2017. But users had plateaued slightly at 100k. That’s when the internal team introduced a referral scheme. Stats by Harvard Business Review say that referral programs can increase app downloads by as much as 25%. So, GoFynd had the potential to gain a healthy 25k new app users... However, GoFynd had growth in mind and decided to make this a refer-and-earn scheme. For every new referral, those who signed up, and those who sent the referral would both receive INR 200 cashback to use on the platform for future buys. The result? 👀 They gained 900k app downloads in the next 30 days and more than made up for their acquisition costs!
