Mainstream science is yet to be fully convinced, however. Muhdo Health analyses 1000s of data points from supplements, genotypes 🧬, cg site methylation, diet 🥗, exercise 🏃♂️etc. Going through the data we have discovered a link between lycopene intake and increased methylation (lower expression) on the gene IL-6 🔥. Increased expression of IL-6, especially chronic expression is associated with heart ❤️disease, cancer, T2D, IBS and autoimmune conditions. This receptor also plays a significant role in processes like 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐟𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞. The results were extremely interesting and showed that even females 🤵♀️that didn’t really watch that much TV (<12.5 h/week), still had a high obesity risk, which interestingly wasn’t really that much different to those who were sat on the sofa 🛋️and watching TV 📺 more than 12.5 h/week. What does this suggest? Well mainly that those with a higher risk of obesity was found for females 🤵♀️carrying the 27Glu allele of the 𝐀𝐃𝐑𝐁2 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞🧬 even when they spent less than 12.5 h/week watching TV 📺. Melatonin, otherwise known as the “Sleep Hormone” 😴has so many more specific and crucial effects within your body than just helping us to fall asleep. Melatonin is thought to activate and regulate over 500 genes 🧬that are involved in DNA 🧬repair and antioxidant function within your body.
