On World Menopause Day last Friday, Nabta Health proudly hosted the first-ever GCC Menopause Summit at Dubai's iconic Museum of the Future as one of several founding partners including British Chamber of Commerce Dubai (BCCD) . This groundbreaking event brought together healthcare experts, thought leaders, and individuals to spotlight an often-overlooked aspect of women's health. The summit featured inspiring talks and real-life stories from women across the GCC, sharing their experiences of navigating menopause. These stories highlighted the pressing need for more awareness, support, and action in this area. Did you know that 70% of organizations in the UAE do not provide menopause support? This statistic is concerning when you consider that: 1) Every woman experiences menopause, usually between ages 45 and 55. 2) Symptoms can persist for years, impacting quality of life and work performance. 3) The number of menopausal women in the workforce continues to grow.
