We're excited to share some promising results from our recent clinical study comparing our Neonav® ECG Tip Location System with the "gold standard" ultrasound method for Umbilical Venous Catheterization (UVC) placement. 
 
Ultrasound offers both high precision and reliability in UVC placement, however it comes with practical challenges - high training barriers and the need for 24/7 access to appropriately trained and qualified operators can be significant hurdles in Neonatal ICUs. 
 
🔍 Study Findings:
☑ Strong Agreement: The Neonav® demonstrated a 94.6% agreement rate with ultrasound, aligning in 35 out of 37 cases. This highlights Neonav’s  potential reliability in real-time tip location and surveillance. 
☑ User-Friendly: The Neonav® offered comparable results to ultrasound but is easier to use and learn, addressing some of the accessibility and training challenges associated with ultrasound.
 
These results are incredibly promising and reinforce the Neonav's breakthrough innovation of offering a real-time tip location & surveillance solution at the same level as ultrasound, but more accessible to clinicians by being easier to learn and use.

We are thrilled to announce that Navi has been awarded a $50,000 MedTech Market Growth Program Grant from LaunchVic and the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions!

This grant will go towards key activities that will help bring our Neonav® ECG Tip Location System into NICUs and children's hospitals around the world, ensuring that critically-ill newborns and children receive the best possible care.
