Nous sommes fiers d’avoir pu donner une seconde vie à cet ancien site militaire de stockage de munitions. Avec une production annuelle équivalente à la consommation d'environ 20 000 habitants, Loirécopark contribuera significativement à la transition énergétique du territoire. 🌞⚡

 ➡️ The sun was shining early this week for the inauguration of our Loirécopark (39.1 MWp) solar park — one of our most powerful in France and the largest in the department of La Sarthe. 

We are proud to have given a new lease of life to a former military ammunition storage site. With an annual production equivalent to the consumption of 20,000 people, Loirécopark will make a significant contribution to the local energy transition. 🌞⚡

 It was a perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to our neighbors, landowners, and local communities for their unwavering support, especially the Ragunda and Solleftea municipalities.
 
 🙏 We also want to extend a big thank you to our key partners E.ON, Nordex Group, SIC, Ramboll, and Nidec Energy AS as well as our clients Coveris Group and Equinix for joining us in celebrating this crucial milestone in the transition to renewable and competitive energy.

Chaque année, pendant 25 ans, SNCF Voyageurs achètera les 172 GWh produits par la future centrale agrivoltaïque du Couret pour alimenter la traction de ses trains. 🚝

D’une puissance de 139 MWc, le Couret sera la 2️⃣ème plus grande centrale solaire de Neoen en France. Située en Haute-Vienne, elle accueillera un éleveur ovin et deux apprentis qui y conduiront un troupeau de 700 brebis et 1000 agneaux ! 🐏

📝 We are very proud to have signed a new corporate PPA in France!

For 25 years, SNCF Voyageurs will buy the 172 GWh annually produced by the future Le Couret agrisolar farm to power its trains. 🚝

With a peak power of 139 MWp, Le Couret will be the 2️⃣nd largest solar farm of Neoen in France. Located in Haute-Vienne, it will be home to a sheep farmer and two apprentices who will manage a flock of 700 ewes and 1,000 lambs! 🐏

🤝 Many thanks to SNCF Voyageurs for their trust, and well done to the Neoen team in France !
