The 2024 Hong Kong Secondary School VR Creation Competition "Inspiring Historical Innovation and Retracing Historical Footprints" organised by NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited (HKEX: 777), has concluded with great success! 

The competition, supported by education partners like Hong Kong Educational Publishing Company, Hong Kong Association of History and Culture Education, and professional organisations such as AiTLE, empowered students to leverage VR technology to bring history to life in innovative and immersive ways. St. Joseph's English School emerged as the grand champion with their dynamic interactive design, cinematography, and visuals that allowed the audience to experience the Battle of Red Cliff from a first-person perspective, enhancing their historical understanding. This competition encourages students to explore diverse EdTech solutions, deepening their historical insights while honing their critical thinking and creativity. NetDragon is dedicated to advancing digital education, utilising VR's engaging approach to significantly enhance teaching efficiency and learning outcomes. This competition showcased the incredible creativity and technical skills of Hong Kong secondary school students.

由網龍主辦的2024年全港中學 VR 創作比賽「啓迪史學創新 重現歷史足跡」圓滿結束！此次比賽得到了香港教育圖書有限公司、香港歷史及文化教育協會、資訊科技教育領袖協會(AiTLE)等專業機構的支持，鼓勵學生運用VR技術以創新和沉浸的方式呈現歷史。聖若瑟英文中學以其生動的互動設計、攝影技術和視覺效果脫穎而出，以第一視角讓觀眾深入體驗赤壁之戰，加深對歷史的理解，最終榮獲總冠軍。這場比賽鼓勵學生利用多元的教育科技產品，深化對歷史的理解，同時訓練批判和創意思考能力。網龍致力於推動數字教育的發展，利用VR這種寓教於樂的方式，大幅提升教學效率和學習成果。本次比賽充分展示了香港中學生優秀的思辨能力和創造力。

The Coding Galaxy Challenge 2024 Awards Ceremony & E-Sports Challenge, organised by NetDragon's Coding Galaxy, was successfully concluded at the United Centre in Admiralty, Hong Kong. This year, 24 schools and over 4,000 students participated, with 38 awards given to outstanding schools and students. The event aimed to promote computational thinking and STEAM education, highlighting the participants' creativity and skills. Coding Galaxy combines coding concepts with gamified learning to create an engaging and effective educational experience. In the 2023/24 school year alone, more than 50 primary schools and 10,000 students benefited from it. 32 students from 8 schools were invited to participate in the Coding Galaxy E-Sports Pioneer Competition during the awards ceremony. They showcased their skills and teamwork in an exciting and intense competition.

網龍旗下教育產品Coding Galaxy於香港金鐘統一中心舉行的計算思維挑戰賽2024頒獎禮暨E-Sports先鋒賽盛大落幕。今年共有 24 間學校參加 Coding Galaxy 挑戰賽，超過4,000 位學生參與，大會頒發了38個獎項，以表揚出色的學校及學生。此次比賽旨在推廣計算思維和STEAM教育，參賽學校和學生展示了非凡的創意與技能。Coding Galaxy結合程式設計概念與遊戲化學習，讓學習變得既有趣又有效，單單在 2023/24 學年，已經有超過50間小學、10,000名小學生受益于此。Coding Galaxy更於頒獎禮當日舉行Coding Galaxy E-Sports 先鋒賽，8 間學校、32 位小學生獲邀參賽並展現傑出的技巧及團隊合作精神，競賽現場激烈且精彩。

網龍期待通過這次比賽，為學界提供更全面、多場景應用的計算思維概念教學方案，培育具備創新思維、技能和知識的新一代人才。

From June 24th to 26th, a delegation of Hong Kong educators visited NetDragon's headquarters in Fuzhou, in an event jointly organized by NetDragon and "Education 2.1" Big Education Platform. The delegation included 30 principals and teachers from 18 primary and secondary schools, gathering to explore the latest trends in digital education and technological innovations. They toured NetDragon’s educational technology projects, including the NCET Virtual Lab, the National K-12 Smart Education Platform, as well as ongoing international projects in Saudi Arabia and Thailand. At the same time, they also visited The No.2 Affiliated Primary School of Fuzhou Education Institute, Fuzhou Pingdong Middle School of Fujian Province, Star School Academy, Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College, and engaged in in-depth discussions with various education experts in Fuzhou. The Hong Kong educators highly praised the visit and looked forward to further collaboration.

This event has strengthened educational partnerships between Fujian and Hong Kong, showcasing NetDragon’s technical expertise and dedication to digital education. NetDragon is committed to empowering education through digital technology, adhering to the "3E Education" philosophy, aiming to create more Effective, Efficient, and Engaging educational solutions.
