#Oceanvolt101 : To sail electric do I need to have a generator on board? It is not mandatory to have a generator on board. However, it is important to understand that without a generator, you as the end user are responsible for ensuring an adequate power supply. This can be achieved through effective sailing and hydrogeneration, accessing grid power, or allowing sufficient time for solar recharging.
