NEWS: Today Orexo is filing a New Drug Application to the FDA for OX124, our life-saving medication that reverses the effects of powerful synthetic opioids.
 
OX124 is a nasal rescue medication that contains a high dose of naloxone. It’s easy to administer, absorbed fast, and is effective against even the most powerful opioids. 
 
Every year across the US, tens of thousands of people, many of whom are young, die from opioid overdoses. Synthetic opioids, including illicitly manufactured fentanyl, cause most of these deaths.

Yesterday we went out with our Full Year Report, also including the latest development in Q4. 

In the quarter we saw growth in net revenues (8.4%), while EBITDA decreased (9.5%). The development is mainly driven by a stronger USD & continued investment in FUTURE GROWTH DRIVERS such as the NDA filing of OX124 & the MODIA clinical study. 

Additionally, we are in a patent litigation protecting the intellectual properties for our lead medication, which is a costly process also affecting the financial result.
