Orissa International Organizes Largest US Agricultural Trade Mission to Vietnam Orissa International recently organized the largest-ever US agricultural trade mission to Vietnam on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture ( USDA ). The trade mission, led by Alexis Taylor , Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, was part of the year-long celebration of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the US and Vietnam. The delegation included officials from nine US state departments of agriculture, 21 cooperatives, and 35 business representatives, who visited both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to explore export opportunities in the country. Orissa International’s Vietnam office arranged over 500 B2B meetings, coordinated site visits, and facilitated networking and promotional events with key players in the agricultural industry from Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia, helping to build strong business relationships and open up avenues for trade and investment for US agriculture in the region.
