On November 15th we were invited to be part of the Deutsche Bank Global Space Summit in New York City.

Jose Manuel Rguez Person, Chief Financial Officer at PLD Space, was honoured to attend the event and made his contribution to the “Making Sense of Space” Series on Podzept, the Deutsche Bank podcast addressing current issues driving the world of economics and finance.

José Manuel discussed the rocket launch market dynamics in Europe, changes on the EU political landscape and PLD Space approach and aspirations.

Yesterday, David Romera, PhD, our Turbomachinery Engineer & Coordinator at PLD Space, and Rebecca Kane, Talent Acquisition Manager, were privileged to visit the Whittle Laboratory, the emblematic and renowned aerospace and energy laboratory based at University of Cambridge (UK).

David shared with the attendees the framework and the working culture of our rocket propulsion program and ran together with Rebecca the presentation “How a succcesful engineering company came to life: the present and future of Rocket Science”.

Esta semana, el responsable de Desarrollo de Negocio de PLD Space, Raúl Verdú, ha presentado la hoja de ruta de la compañía en Londres (Reino Unido) y Berna (Suiza), en dos eventos de alto nivel organizados por la Oficina Económica y Comercial de España en el Reino Unido y la Economic and Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy in Bern.

En Londres, el cofundador de PLD Space impartió una charla sobre oportunidades de inversión en la nueva industria espacial europea, en una reunión privada introducida por el responsable de la Oficina Económica y Comercial de la Embajada de España en el Reino Unido, Alvaro Nadal Belda. 

En Suiza, Verdú participó en una mesa redonda junto al director de la Agencia Espacial Española, Miguel Bello; el exministro de Ciencia e Innovación Pedro Duque; y el CEO de Destinus Spain, Plácido Márquez. El panel estuvo moderado por Nanja Strecker, ESA BIC Switzerland, y presentado por la embajadora de España en Suiza y Liechtenstein, Celsa Nuño.

This week, our CBDO Raúl Verdú has presented the company's roadmap in London (UK) and Bern (Switzerland) at two events organized by the Oficina Económica y Comercial de España en el Reino Unido and the Economic and Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy in Bern.

In London, the Co-founder of PLD Space shared valuable insights on investment opportunities in the new European space industry, in an event presented by Alvaro Nadal Belda. 

In Switzerland, Verdú participated in a roundatble with the director of the Spanish Space Agency, Miguel Bello; the former Minister of Science and Innovation Pedro Duque; and the CEO of Destinus Spain, Plácido Márquez. The panel was moderated by Nanja Strecker, ESA BIC Switzerland, and introduced by Spain's Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Celsa Nuño
